Education Content:  Courtney Allenson, CDP, NC-EA, BRDP will present:  “A Walk in Their Shoes Dementia Simulation” – this is an interactive experience to share with caregivers, families, and professionals in an effort to experience, if only for a moment, the challenges and frustrations of age and dementia-related limitations. The hope is that we can take a moment to walk in the shoes of our residents and gain empathy for their situation.
