The Benefits of Music Therapy.  Kayla Passione, Activity Director at Mountain View Center in Rutland will demonstrate POUND which is a drumming exercise that residents love.  Kayla will not only demonstrate POUND but she will also break it down to teach everyone how to do it with your residents, including what songs to use and the different drumming patterns to use.  She will then present on the benefits of music therapy in rehab as well as benefits to long term residents.
