Are you interested in exploring a health care career?
Vermont Nursing Homes are frequently looking for Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs, in some states these are called CNAs). This position can be a great start in caregiving, with room for growth within the LNA role or as a strong foundation for moving on to other positions. The training for a nursing assistant license combines classroom work with hands on experience, and often nursing homes will employee LNAs-in-training while they learn.
The easiest way to find out about options near you is to visit the websites of local nursing homes, you can find them listed from our directory in the Find Care section.
If you are interested only in the LNA training and testing process, not a specific employer, Vermont’s Division of Licensing & Protection lists approved programs on their site.
Assisted Living Residences and Residential Care Homes are also great places to get started in caregiving and have a range of positions available. You can learn more about working in this sector at Career in Caring Vermont.
VHCA members are invited to submit roles for individual listing on this site. The form for submission is here. Current opportunities are listed below. Note that we do not list LNA roles below, please see above for options to find those opportunities.
